About Kaddhampa

The Gadang Sect was founded on the day when Venerable Atisha (982-1054) completed his work "Bodhidharma Lamp Treatise", which was the 14th day of the fifth month of the Tibetan calendar in 1042. This treatise provided a complete solution to the famous Buddhist problems at that time. , such as: there is no contradiction between Mahayana and Mahayana, the three places of learning to generate bodhicitta are integrated without hindrance, and the complete sequence of sutra and tantra training is completed. Later, Master Zhongdunpa (1004-1064), a disciple of the Venerable, established Rezhen Temple as the Gandang Temple. Paimu Temple was the first place where the name of Gadang Sect spread widely. The tradition of making Doma in Tibetan Buddhism today comes from Master Zhongdunpa kneading three whites and three sweets into shape when he was the attendant of Venerable Atisha. It is the origin of making offerings to the Venerable. In addition, the Venerable's disciple Orebiserao Master (980-1076) established the Sangpu Temple. The standing debate method of Tibetan Buddhism today is the lion of the eminent monk Qaba Dharma who came from this temple. The master made a fortune and promoted it. Then there appeared three masters who had studied in the Gadang sect temple, namely, the founder of the sect, Master Dabraj of the Bai sect (1079-1153), Master Basiba of the Hua sect (1235-1280), and Zongkha of the Yellow sect. After the three founders of the sect, Master Ba (1357-1419), gradually divided up the disciples of the Gadang sect and renamed them followers of other sects, the monasteries or believers established with the obvious name of the Gadang sect passed into history and were only used to teach. The content and type of the teachings have been passed down to the world implicitly. However, each sect has inevitably added teaching content with its own characteristics. Therefore, the pure Gadang teachings have gradually been confused. It was not until the reconstruction of the Gadang Sect by Gadang Chiqing in 2008 that the name of the Gadang Sect was revived. In particular, Gadang Chiqing used a clear and complete personal continuation and Chinese translation of the documents to tell the world that it originated from the Venerable Atisha. The content of the extremely virtuous Jiuwu Gadang teachings. This move not only purified the flow of the Dharma lineage, but also provided a clear source of the Dharma lineage for future generations and made an outstanding contribution to the inheritance of the Mahayana Tantra. However, this move did attract criticism, and legal battles and slander conflicts occurred. Faced with these, the Dharma King Laugh it off.

His academic qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Medical Radiology from Chang Gung Memorial University, a master's degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Tamkang University, and is currently studying for a PhD in Chinese Language and Literature at National Changhua Normal University. He has studied Buddhism comprehensively, has gone through many retreats, and has obtained various tantric authorizations, including the Great Initiation, Medicine Buddha Dharma, and the teachings of the Supreme Vajra Lingha Duyong. He strives for excellence in both academics and practice, and is committed to in-depth study of the Gadang sect's teachings. In terms of Dharma inheritance, in addition to his rich academic background, Rinpoche also actively participates in social services while conducting various Dharma conferences and teaching courses, with special emphasis on promoting Dharma to deaf people. Continuing to carry forward the legacy of Master Chuangshan, he used academic courses and learning methods to enable the four disciples to obtain the inheritance and teachings of the Gadang Sect more completely and quickly. With his erudite and versatile qualities, he worked hard to make the Gadang sect's teachings take root in the Han region, broaden the scope of sentient beings, repay the four kindnesses, and relieve the sufferings of the three journeys.
